GV II

Seventh Day Adventist Church. c1820 with C20 alterations and addition. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, part rendered, with Welsh slate roof. PLAN: Small single cell, single storey hall at right angles to Kingston Buildings. EXTERIOR: West entrance front ashlar, broad plain pilasters flank recessed centre, and has moulded returned cornice and parapet raised and breaking forward over entrance, with moulded coping. Flanking sections of parapet have blocking course and terminal dies with small panelled caps. Doorway set in rectangular panel up to cornice, plain surround and row of three marginal glazed lights extending full width of panel above doorhead level. c1920 panelled door. Side (north) elevation of four-bays of rendered walling divided by ashlar piers. First three-bays have plain six/six sash in reveal. Central lantern to roof. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
