Description

The garden wall and gate piers at Coley Court, dating from the 18th century, are constructed of rubble with cement and dressed stone copings, and feature ashlar piers. The wall stands 1.5 metres high and projects from each end of the house to the roadside boundary, extending in line with the road across the front. There are garden gate openings on each short side, adorned with re-used ecclesiastical pedimented finials on the coping. The frontage wall includes globe finials at each end and on the square piers at the central gate entrance.
