Description
Coley Cottage is a house that was formerly two cottages, dating from the late 17th century with 19th-century additions to the rear. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble and features a slate roof with a dressed stone ridge, while the rear outshuts are covered with pantiles. The building has two storeys and three windows. All the windows are either two or three-light ovolo mullions with 19th-century casements, except for the left-hand window on the ground floor, which is a two-light 19th-century casement set in an original door opening. The central entrance has a part-glazed wooden porch, and the plank door is framed by a chamfered surround with base stops. There are three stone stacks topped with brick caps. Inside, some chamfered beams can be found.
