Description
The walls and piers in front of the garden of Colepike Hall date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and feature ashlar piers. The low wall, which has chamfered coping, curves to create two carriage entrances that are flanked by squared chamfered piers with cornices and swept pyramidal copings. There are three piers in each outer section and twelve in the center, all of which have plinths, cornices, and low pyramidal coping, standing on pilasters within the wall. Additionally, a higher wall made of similar materials fronts the garden on the right and includes a pyramid-coped pier of coursed squared sandstone at its right end.
