Description
The terrace wall and piers in front of Colepike Hall are likely from the mid-19th century. This dwarf wall features a wide curve that flanks the carriage drive leading to Colepike Hall. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and has a chamfered design. The wall includes eight tapered octagonal piers placed at regular intervals, which were probably intended to hold chains that are now missing. At each end of the wall are wide octagonal piers topped with later urns. This structure is included for its group value.
