Description
Colepike Hall is an early 19th-century house with additions dated 1856, located on the north side of the B6296 road. The house is constructed of sandstone ashlar with a Lakeland slate roof. It is symmetrical in design, with two storeys and 14 bays, including full-height canted projections at each end. A nosed stone staircase leads to an Ionic porch, likely dating to 1856, featuring shields on the plinths and a pierced stone parapet on the cornice. The porch has a half-glazed double door and patterned fanlight within a panelled surround. Margined sash windows are set within architraves, and a prominent sill band runs along the first floor. The roof is hipped over the canted bays, with corniced ridge chimneys. An attached high wall to the left return incorporates a keyed arch with a date panel. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
