Description
Humber House Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations. It is constructed from thinly-rendered sandstone rubble, featuring quoins and ashlar dressings. The building has an irregular plinth on the left and right returns and a stone-flagged roof with brick chimneys. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central door, which dates from the 20th century, is set within a tooled plain stone surround. The late 19th-century sashes beneath stone lintels have low-relief wedge heads and projecting stone sills. The farmhouse has corniced end chimneys, with the one on the right positioned on a rendered plinth. At the rear, there is a one-storey, one-bay porch that has a pent roof.
