Description

This is a shop with accommodation over, now converted into flats, dating from around 1775 to 1789, with later alterations carried out around 1980. The building is constructed from limestone ashlar and has a pantile roof. It is three storeys high with an attic. The ground floor features a projecting shopfront from around 1980, with an ashlar stallriser supporting two shop windows of early 19th century style, a central entrance, and a plain fascia. A blocked six-panel house door is located on the right side. The first floor contains a Venetian window with six/six sash windows flanked by four/four windows, with an iron balconette. The upper floor windows are similar but without an arched head to the central light. There is a cornice, parapet, and a mansard roof with double six/six dormer windows with flat tops, and a chimney stack to the left. The rear elevation is not visible. The interior has not been inspected.
