Description

This is a barn attached to Heather Farmhouse, dated 1688 and remodelled in the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with freestone quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof that features coped raised verges and finials. The barn has a gabled porch with an elliptical arch opening, and there is a stone tablet above displaying the date. At the rear, there is a similar opening but without a porch, along with blocked slit vents. Lean-tos are present on both the left and right sides of the front porch, excluding a projecting shelter shed. The interior consists of five bays with collar beam trusses.
