Description
Strawberry Gardens is a detached house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a double Roman tile roof. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the gable facing the road.
The exterior consists of two storeys and has irregular window arrangements. The wing facing the road includes a twelve-pane sash window and a large panelled door located under a corner porch with a corrugated asbestos roof. The return section has a two-light casement window above another twelve-pane sash. At the south end, there is a very broad uncoped gable with a stack and a single small square light, above the remains of a conservatory. The gable facing the lane is slightly canted and shows signs of an earlier, steeper roof profile, featuring a single casement window and a cropped stack. The rear of the range includes a small fixed six-pane window at the eaves and an extension. The interior has not been inspected.
