Detached house. 1829, altered c.1850, C20 additions. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roof with moulded stacks to party walls. PLAN: L-plan with projecting left wing. EXTERIOR: Two storeys with attic and basement, two-window range. Projecting left wing with canted bay to ground and first floors, now containing casement windows with overlights. Cast iron trellised balconette to first floor, arcaded parapet above blind box. Moulded coped gable with kneelers to attic, with French window set within label mould giving onto roof of porch. Set back C19 block to right has similar gable with moulded lintel, raised eared architrave to second floor has bracketed sills and horizontal glazing bars to two/two-pane sash window, similar glazing and balconette to triple window to first floor, C20 door to right of C20 garage in angle. INTERIOR: Not inspected. Date of construction is derived from the deeds.
