This is a chest tomb from the early 19th century, located approximately 2 metres south of the west tower of the church in Cuckfield. The tomb is made of stone and sits on a red brick plinth. It features a moulded base and top, with sides that have paired pilasters and a rectangular inscription panel adorned with fan moulding at the corners. The ends of the tomb are similar but have only one pilaster. The inscription on the tomb is now illegible.
