Description
Iron Pear Tree Cottages is a house that has been converted into three cottages. It dates from the 17th century and originally had three bays. The building was refronted and had an addition made in the mid-19th century. The exterior is cement rendered, with the right side partially covered in tile and red brick featuring grey headers at the ground floor, while the rear is brick. The roof is tiled and hipped to the left side. The structure is two storeys high and has three windows, which are 19th-century diamond-paned leaded light casements. There is one off-central ridge stack and one end brick stack. The interiors of Nos 2 and 3 were not accessible during the survey, but they are reported to have exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace.
