Description

Town Mill is an early to mid 19th century building located in a secluded part of Horsham, now out of use. It runs transversely from north to south across the end of Mill Bay, which is fed by the River Arun. The building features gable ends on the north and south sides and has a west-facing elevation. It is two storeys high with five windows, constructed of red brick with grey headers and topped with an old tiled roof. The eaves cornice is adorned with modillions, and all the windows have segmental heads. On the left side (north), there is an elliptical brick archway for the mill-stream, and on the lower right, there is another brick segmental-headed archway.
