Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century building of three storeys and three windows. Originally stuccoed, the front has been refaced with modern brick. It has an eaves cornice, and the windows have segmental heads with intact glazing bars. A hood over the door is supported by brackets. The building forms a group with The Manor House, the stables to the south, and numbers 24 to 31 (consecutive) on The Causeway. It also forms a significant group with numbers 1 to 7 (odd) on Blackhorse Way, and with all the listed buildings in South Street, as well as all listed buildings in the Market Square and South Street.
