Description

The former stables located to the south of the Manor House have been converted into a chapel. This building is constructed of red brick with some grey headers and features a projecting central portion topped with a pediment. Most of the original windows have been blocked, and modern round-headed windows have been added. The Manor House, these stables, and Nos 24 to 31 The Causeway form a group with Nos 1 to 7 Blackhorse Way and all the listed buildings in South Street. Together, all the listed buildings in The Causeway create a significant group with those in Market Square and South Street.
