Description

16, The Causeway is an 18th-century building, likely refaced in the 17th century, with a 17th-century brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high and has three windows. It is constructed of red brick with an eaves cornice. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs. The windows are segmental-headed and originally had sash windows with glazing bars, although these are now missing. There is a six-panel moulded door with a hood over. The listed buildings of The Causeway form an important group with those in Market Square and South Street.
