Description
15 The Causeway is a timber-framed house that was refronted in the early 18th century but still retains two gables with moulded bargeboards from the original structure. The building has two storeys and features five windows. It is constructed of red brick on a stone plinth, with the gables hung with tiles. The roof is made of Horsham slabs, and there is a moulded eaves cornice. The windows have segmental heads and are sashes with wide glazing bars intact. The doorway is framed and accessed by two steps, with a handrail and a pediment above. It has a six-panel moulded door. All the listed buildings in The Causeway are part of a significant group, along with those in Market Square and South Street.
