Description

Nos 9, 9A, and 9B on Middle Street are 17th century buildings, or possibly older. They have a stuccoed front, but timber-framing is visible on the west side. The buildings are two storeys high and feature three windows. The roof is tiled and half-hipped to the east, with a blocked louvred gablet. There is an eaves cornice, and the first floor has triple windows with leaded lights. The shop fronts are modern. Nos 9, 9A, 9B, and No 10 form a group with Nos 4 to 7 (consecutive) and No 36, Carfax.
