Description

Nos 33, 34, 34A, and 34C on Carfax is a timber-framed building that has been altered since the 18th century. It stands two storeys high and features three windows. The ground floor is finished in painted brick, while the upper floor is plastered. The first floor overhangs on curved brackets, although modern shop fronts have been partially built out beneath it. The building has a tiled roof and includes sash windows, with one bay on the first floor that is missing glazing bars. Together with Nos 33 to 35 and Nos 34A and 34C, as well as No 1 East Street, this building forms a group of significant structures.
