Description

The Former Lamb Inn, located at No 42 in Carfax, is an early 19th-century building. It features three storeys and is finished in stucco. The structure has a cornice and a parapet topped with stone capping. There are two windows on the façade, all of which are sash windows, although some have missing glazing bars. A ground floor stringcourse runs along the building, and the entrance is marked by a square-headed doorway that has a narrow hood and moulded pilasters.
