Description

Michaelmas Cottage is a 17th-century, two-storey cottage located at Ifield Green. The ground floor features timber framing with brick infilling, while the first floor is adorned with pointed tile-hanging. The cottage has a steeply pitched roof covered with old tiles, which extends over an outshut on the north side. A brick chimney stack is positioned at the west end of the building. The windows are casements with wooden mullions and leaded panes, with a mix of original and restored elements.
