Description

Harrow Cottage, Old Plough Cottage, and the Plough Inn are three buildings that form a group on the north side of the approach to the church. Harrow Cottage dates from the early 18th century and is two storeys high. Its ground floor features brick diaper patterns, while the first floor is tile-hung with pointed tiles. The building has an old tiled roof with one gabled attic dormer and an outshut at the rear. The windows are wooden casements.

Old Plough Cottage, formerly known as the Old Plough Inn, dates from around 1600 and has been restored. It has an L-shaped plan and is also two storeys tall, with a ground floor made of multi-coloured bricks and an old tiled roof. A 17th-century chimney stack is present, and the south gable facing the street has a half hip. The windows are modern leaded casements.

The Plough Inn was built in 1900 and is two storeys high, featuring cement-faced walls that are cream-washed and an old tiled roof. Its windows are wooden casements with glazing bars.
