Description

12 and 13 East Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall with an attic. They feature a tiled gabled roof with one flat-roofed dormer on each side. Each building has two windows, constructed from red brick. A cornice with modillions adorns the top. Most of the sash windows, complete with glazing bars, are intact, except for the first-floor windows in No 12, which are two-light casements. The windows are set in reveals with flat arches, and No 12 has rubbed brick voussoirs above its windows. No 13 displays a fire insurance company mark. The ground floor features plate glass shop fronts.
