Description
14 and 15 East Street are an early 19th-century building of three storeys and an attic. They have a slate mansard roof with a parapet and a segmental-headed dormer window on each side. Number 14 is constructed of yellow brick, while number 15 has a modern red brick and grey brick facing that replaces the original yellow brick, although the original core remains. Long and short brick quoins are located at the east end of number 15. The building has sash windows. Number 14 features windows set in flat arches within reveals, with rubbed brick voussoirs. Number 15 has modern windows with segmental heads, flush boxes, and intact glazing bars, topped with keystones. Contemporary fascias and plate glass shop fronts occupy the ground floor.
