Description

No. 87 East Street is a 18th-century building with a higher frontage and roofline compared to the adjacent Nos. 85 and 86. It features a slate roof and stands three storeys tall with a two-window bay. The building is constructed of red brick and has a coved cornice. It is adorned with long and short stone or terracotta quoins, and the sash windows have architraves made of similar materials. The windows are topped with flat arches, and the glazing bars remain intact. On the ground floor, there is a small plate glass shop window, with the shop window and door flanked by narrow pilasters.
