Description
94 East Street is an 18th-century building that stands four storeys tall, featuring a much higher elevation than the adjacent No 75 South Street to the west. The building is constructed of red brick and has a cornice with modillions below the eaves. It has three window bays, each with sash windows set in reveals, flat arches above, and rubbed brick voussoirs, with the glazing bars remaining intact. The ground floor is occupied by a bank, which has a 20th-century front designed in a classical style. This front includes three window bays flanked by short Ionic columns on a high podium, along with an architrave that features a wide frieze and a cornice with modillions above. There are modern doorways at either end of the bank front.
