Description

68 and 70 Lugley Street are early 19th century semi-detached houses that stand three stories tall. They are constructed from red brick, featuring grey headers and red brick dressings. The buildings have a low-pitched gable end slate roof and a wooden eaves cornice. Each house has one recessed sash window on the first and second floors for No 68, while No 70 has a sash window only on the second floor. The windows have block sills and wooden lintels on the second floor, with rubbed brick flat arches above. The doors are recessed and consist of four fielded panels, with No 70 having two glazed panels and No 68 having a modern door. Both houses feature semi-circular fanlights, architraves, and rubbed brick arches above the doors.
