Description

Nos 89 and 89A High Street is an early 19th-century building featuring three storeys constructed with purple grey headers and red brick dressings. It has a gable end slate roof. Each bay slightly projects and contains one recessed sash window with glazing bars and block sills. The first floor showcases a flat fronted bow window with three lights, supported by a Doric pilaster, a frieze, and paired modillions beneath a projecting shallow cornice. The modern apron below is plain. Although the shop fronts are modern, the central doorway still retains its hood and ornamented brackets. Nos 89 to 90A are part of a group.
