Description

Grayle House and The Close is an early 19th-century building located in Westhampnett on Stane Street. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The exterior is faced with flints set in galletting, complemented by white brick dressings and quoins. The building features an eaves cornice and a slate roof, with intact glazing bars. There is a porch with a tent-shaped canopy. To the north, there are two window bays that were likely added in the mid-19th century, designed in a matching style but with red brick dressings and quoins.
