Description
Westhampnett Mill House is a house that was formerly a mill house, dated 1772 with the initials P H on the front. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped roof covered with old tiles and a modillion eaves cornice. The building has two storeys and attics, with two flat-roofed casement dormers. On the ground floor, there are two twelve-pane sash windows with cambered architraves. The first floor has a central blank section with black headers and a datestone, along with a central blocked doorcase that has a cambered head. The side elevation includes five twelve-pane sashes on both the first and ground floors, where the ground floor also has three canted bays with 20th-century doors. Additionally, there is a six-pane 20th-century door with glass panels, a flat hood, and brackets. A brick extension from the 1970s is located to the left of the house.
