Description

Lumley Mill is an early 19th-century mill-house located on Lumley Road, Emsworth. It is a two-storey building with five windows, although the northernmost bay rises to three storeys with a gable. The ground floor is stuccoed and rusticated, with a string course above. An eaves cornice runs around the building. The windows are round-headed and have ornamental glazing. A small pediment is positioned over the two central window bays. A porch with fluted Doric columns contains a round-headed door of eight moulded panels. Two other doorways are present, each within a moulded architrave surround with projecting cornices and containing doors of six fielded panels.
