Description

Slipper House is an early 19th-century building located on Slipper Lane in Hermitage, near Emsworth. Originally two storeys with two windows facing north, the main part of the house is faced with flints and has red brick dressings, including a modillion eaves cornice. The corners are emphasised with long and short quoins finished in Roman cement. The roof is tiled and hipped. The window glazing bars are now missing. To the south is a former warehouse, now incorporated into the house. This section is constructed of red brick and has five windows facing east. An old hoist mechanism remains in place.
