Description
Nos 34 and 35 on East Street are 18th-century buildings that were refronted in the 19th century. They feature a tiled roof with two hipped dormers and rise three storeys high with two window bays. The front is rendered and includes pilasters at each end and one in the centre, topped by a painted panelled parapet. The window bays project slightly and have a stepped cornice above the second floor. The buildings have sash windows set in shallow reveals, with flat arches over the second floor windows and segmental arches over the first floor windows. The ground floor has a 19th-century jeweller's shop front, and the fascia partially obscures the first floor windows.
