Description

These are a terrace of six houses, numbers 30 to 38 South Terrace, built in the 1860s by Robert Bushby, a local builder. They are reflected pairs, meaning the facades are mirror images of each other. The houses are three storeys high and stuccoed, with three sash windows on each floor. Two of the windows on each floor are contained within semi-circular, full-height bay windows. A string course runs above each floor, and a sill course is present on the first floor. The cornice parapet has a bedmould. The doorways are round-headed, each with a semi-circular fanlight, keystone, and dripstone above. Numbers 35 to 38 are faced in cement. Numbers 30 to 47 of South Terrace form a group.
