Description

No. 41 The Green is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It has a rendered exterior and features a modillion eaves cornice beneath a plain tiled roof, which is accented by brick gable parapets and end stacks. The side fronts are made of flint. The building is two storeys high and has a regular three-window front. The first floor windows have iron hexagonal-lozenge lattice glazing and are fitted with shutters. On the ground floor, there are shallow polygonal oriels in the outer bays, each with flat hoods and similar glazing. The central entrance features a panelled door with a raised surround and a flat hood supported by brackets above.
