Description

Ivy Lodge is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed cobblestone with painted brick quoins, a band, and dressings. The building features a painted brick modillion cornice and a coped parapet above a plain tiled mansard roof with end stacks. It has two storeys and a regular three-window front. The windows are diamond lattice wooden cross-windows with casements, except for a sash window with diamond lattice glazing in the center of the first floor. The central arched doorway has toothed dressings and includes a glazed door with a fanlight. There are extensive 19th and 20th-century additions to the rear.
