Description

This is a barn located 20 yards south of Whitehouse Farm House, dating from the 16th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with a weatherboarded exterior, although some of the weatherboarding is missing. The roof is made of corrugated iron on the left side, with some tiling on the hipped end to the right. The barn is rectangular in shape, with a lower three-bay section on the right that includes a carriage entrance. The left side has five bays, two of which have windbracing and a carriage entrance at the rear. The right side consists of three bays. The construction includes queen post supports, with queen struts on the left side.
