Roundhill Cottage is a house dating from the 15th century, with a late 19th-century front facing the street. The building features a timber frame with brick infill at the rear and a brick façade with tile hanging on the street side. It has plain tiled roofs that are half hipped at the rear, with a central ridge stack at the front and a ridge stack at the end of the rear wing. The house has two storeys, with the rear wing consisting of three framed bays that include curved wind bracing. The rear wing has 19th-century casement windows and a plank door on the left side of the return front. On the street front, there are three casement windows on the first floor and a central plank door located under a gabled porch hood supported by wooden posts.
Inside, the timber framing is visible at the rear, and there is a deep brick fireplace with a wooden lintel.
