Description
Stirrups is a house dating from the 15th century, with a front that likely dates from the 17th century. It features timber framing with brick infill and has a plain tile roof, with a brick end stack on the right. The building has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys with a three-window range. There is a plank door located at the center, with a three-light casement window to the right of the door and five-light casements to both the left and right. On the first floor, there are three three-light casements. At the rear, there is a timber-framed cross wing. The gables reveal queen post roof trusses, and the interior is noted for its fine timber work in the ground floor ceilings.
