Description
The Forge is a house dated 1691, marked by brick numerals in the flintwork. It features knapped flint with brick dressings and has a plain tile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The building has a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door surrounded by a moulded wood frame. There are three-light wooden casements on both the left and right sides of the door, and a brick band runs between the ground and first floor. The first floor has a blind two-light window in the center, flanked by additional three-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
