Description
Park Farm Cottage, known as The Bothy, is a house that has been divided into two separate residences. It likely dates from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a plain tile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The layout is probably a lobby entry plan.
To the left, there is a single storey and attic, while the right side has two storeys, all under a common roof. The front has a two-window range, with a central blocked doorway that has a brick hoodmould. On either side of the centre, there are 3-light casements with segmental brick arch heads. A plank door is located to the right, and a sash door to the left. There is also a 2-light casement on the first floor to the right and a gabled dormer, likely from the 20th century, to the left. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there is a subsidiary two-storey, one-window wing made of brick, dating from the 19th century, to the right.
