Description
Stella Cottage is a house likely dating from the 17th to early 18th century, originally timber-framed with exposed timbering and red brick infilling in the gable ends. It has been largely refaced with modern random stone rubble, with brick window dressings and quoins. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. The house is two storeys tall with an attic, featuring three dormers. A modern gabled porch has been added. There are later additions to the rear. A brick stringcourse is also present. The building was likely known as Stella’s Cottage.
