Description

Myddle Cottage is a building likely dating from the 17th century. It is a timber-framed cottage that has been completely faced in red brick during the 19th century. The cottage features a tiled roof with gabled ends and a gabled crosswing at the left-hand (north-west) end. It has one storey and an attic, with four windows. The windows are modern casements, and there are modern flat roof dormers as well as modern brick porches. The ridge stacks include one over the crossing with grouped diagonal shafts. Inside, there are stopped chamfered ceiling beams.
