Description

The Moors is a circa 16th/17th century timber-framed cottage, largely faced with red brick in the 18th/19th century. Timber framing is exposed at the rear, and at the gable ends and in a blocked two-light stone mullion window on the north-west end’s sandstone walls. The roof is tiled, with gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The cottage is one storey with an attic, and has a three-window front. Windows are modern or 19th-century casements. There are two gabled dormers. A modern brick porch has been added. Brick ridge and end stacks are present. A 19th-century brick wing and outskirt extend from the rear.
