Description

The School House is an early 17th century timber-framed cottage featuring white painted brick infill panels. It has a steeply pitched machine tile roof with gabled ends and is one storey high with an attic. The front includes two small modern casement windows on the ground floor and another in the gable to the right. There is a circa 19th century brick extension with one bay to the right. This building was formerly the residence of a schoolmaster. At the rear, there is a school building from the 19th or 20th century designed to imitate timber framing.
