Description

Whym Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed cottage featuring white painted infill panels. It has a machine-tiled roof with gabled ends and is one storey high with an attic. The ground floor includes two modern casement windows and an off-centre plank door, which is sheltered by a modern gabled porch. There is an original large gabled dormer that is also off-centre. The brick ridge and end stacks have been rebuilt. At the rear, there is a white painted 18th century brick wing with a crow-stepped gable.
