Description

Buttery Farmhouse is a red brick farmhouse dated 1810, featuring a low-pitched slate hipped roof. The building has three storeys and three bays, with a fourth window added later in the 19th century to the right of the centre on both the ground and first floors. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set in segmental arched openings. The central entrance has a pilastered doorcase with a pediment, panelled reveals, a rectangular fanlight, and a panelled and glazed door. Above the central first floor window is a tablet displaying a coronet, the initials 'M.S.', and the date '1810'.
