Description
Preston Hall is an 18th-century red brick farmhouse located in Preston-on-the-Weald-Moors. It features a steeply pitched plain tile roof with brick parapet gable ends and a brick dentil eaves course. The building has brick string courses marking the floor levels and is two storeys high with an attic. It has a three-window range, with widely spaced 19th-century three-light mullion and transom casements that have flat arches with keyblocks. There is a doorway to the right of the centre, which is topped by a late 19th-century gabled hood. The farmhouse has brick ridge and end stacks, and there are attic windows in the gable ends. Additionally, there is a 19th-century one-storey addition on the right-hand (east) end.
