Description
This building is a barn, now used as a garage, located 30 metres east of South Munstead Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century and features sandstone rubble walls with brick dressings and weather-boarded gable ends beneath a plain tiled roof. The structure is rectangular and consists of five bays. There are three brick-edged, rectangular breathers at the first floor ends and four breathers below. Each side of the central entrance has three breathers on both floors. The rear entrance is glazed in, while the front entrance has an upper half that is glazed, although the full-height doors remain. Inside, there are braced centre posts and a queen-strut roof.
